Go Walk Lomond Hills Regional Park

Maspie Den

Maspie Den is a beautiful uphill walk incorporating many interesting features. This can be completed as a two hour round trip from Falkland taking in the East Lomond hill.

Tyndall Bruce Monument

The Tyndall Bruce Monument lies through the forest to the west of Falkland. It's an impressive structure with even more impressive views. Mainly safe for offlead walks.

Bunnet Stane

The Bunnet Stane has been called the strangest rock formation in Fife. The walk itself isn't very impressive, it's only a short walk from the road and through a field of sheep.

Bishop Hill

Bishop hill is the less famous brother of the main summits of the Lomond Hills, it's scrubby moorland towers on the western side of Loch Leven, not quite as high as the West Lomond.

Glen Vale

This is a beautiful trail and will take you past many interesting features including John Knox Pulpit, waterfalls and Harperleas Resevoir. Bring the welly boots though, this one is muddy!

West Lomond

West Lomond is the tallest hill in Fife, although the gradient is mostly very easy going- depending on the route you take. For a more challenging route go from the Bonnet Stane.
